Leather work continues. Been wracking my brain for ideas for a 6 yo granddaughter. Stumbled on this idea, then spent days trying to figure out how to put it together. Today I am calling it done.

More hobby crap. A couple attempts at a wallet. Also, my wife informs me our 6yo granddaughter would love a purse or bag...especially with her name on it. So spent a few days trying to figute that out. Todsy I finished this. Can attatch to a bag.

Retirement required a new hobby. I've been putzing with leathercrafting. My first project was a case for stitching chisels. Mistakes were made. I recovered. I'm okay with the result.

Look what I got today. New right hip. Outpatient surgery. Freaking amazing. Surgery at 8:30,ish. Home by 2:30. Climbing stairs, full weight bearing on legs.

I'm stunned, and very optimistic. Procedure link and xtlray attached.

Goal is to get back on my bicycle!

My better half finally got to try my Detroit style pizza. She approved. This had hot Italia sausage, brick, mozzarella, touch of feta, as well as grated parmesan and Romano cheeses. Finished with fresh basil and a drizzle of EVOO.

It didn't suck.

Made Detroit style pizza last night. This one with spicy Italian sausage, sauteed garlic baby bella mushrooms, giardiniera, brick, mozz, cheddar, and feta cheese(not to mention grated parm and Romano cheeses). Touch of fresh basil. Cooked in 10 minutes in my Arc XL pizza oven.

Cindy, I have good days and bad days. My only serious goal would be to see my wordle solves in 3 equal my 4s. There's about 30 point difference. Well, that and another solves in 1 would be nice.

A 3 day project. My 3rd attempt at Detroit style pizza. Day 1, the poolish. Day 2, the dough. Day 3, final proofing and cook.

Topped w/ It. sausage, hot Giardiniera, mozz and brick cheese, home made sauce, shaved and grated parmesan and romano chees, and fresh basil. Oof

Yesterday's Detroit style pizza. My second. This haf pepperoni, onion, garlic paste, and tomato sauce made with Mutti San Marzano tomatos.

The crust had been frozen. While it seemed thin, it was tasty AF.

A first for me. I bought a couple dry aged bone-in ribeyes. Cooked one up today. A tad more well done than I prefer, but amazing. Wife agrees. Pre-cooked weight was 2.5 lbs. We expected leftovers. Nope.

Cooked in my newish carbon steel pan.

I bought a Lloyds pan for making Detroit style pizza eell over a year ago. The process seemed rather daunting. Well, I finally did it. Turned out amazing, but perjaps a tad too salty. (Brick cheese is saltier than mozz).

Turned out perfect. I took a pic while it cooked, but not after.
