i watch this movie every christmas MULTIPLE times by myself and with my mother. i’ve probably seen it 50 times. it’s one of my favorite movies. it’s spooky and funny and toni collette is in it what more do u need

i’m just going to emphasize one more time the practical effects of the cenobites is so cool i wish we got to see them more. definitely worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet

…due to its use of cgi to show the sparkling and lightning effects of the puzzle box which really do not hold up well. but honestly i think the cheesiness of it is charming. the gore in this movie is over the top and looks awesome

i’ve loved the design of pinhead and the cenobites for years but i’ve never actually sat and watched this movie. the makeup and practical effects are amazing. however while other 80’s horror films are able to withstand the test of time this one falls a little short…

ariana and cynthia’s acting was amazing. they had great chemistry together. i always forget how sad this story is and now i really want to see it live again lol

it’s fucking incredible. really the only criticism i have is that i wish i understood better why they’re going after the animals. hoping part 2 will clarify more. definitely go see it in theaters while you can
