I wouldn't do the same with the Superman titles and Spider-Man titles in the 90s, etc. Cross-over titles would be impossible to shelve in order unless you went strict publication order, but then everything is mixed up. I know I am thinking too hard about this, lol.

Yeah, based on the fluid nature of the title itself, I would say that thr first 141 were all Uncanny. I worked at a library, and I think if we had shelved them there, they would have been all over the place, not helpful to readers. But to me, I would rather put them all in a row.

At least the first issue was called The X-Men. Did they ever drop the "the" from the title before becoming Uncanny? Was it The Uncanny?

Based on this preamble, I would probably consider it all to be Uncanny Vol 1.

Ah, my bad. I meant that from the second definition. It's hard when there are words that have multiple definitions for words and some of them can be taken the wrong way. I will consider that in the future. Thank you for pointing that out.
