When the only lesson you take from the release of the Epstein files is "fuck dude it would be real bad if people read my emails."

It's also not going to make a difference. A lot of people who should know better are playing dumb about what the actual electoral indicators are right now. It's not going to be 2018 all over again. It's going to be much worse for Republicans. Ratfucking at the margins will be farting in the wind.

Or mayyyyybe the lesson is that the platform doesn't matter if the person responsible for selling it to the public is a sun-downing 80-year-old who can't explain what he had for fucking lunch, nevermind the merits of complex economic policies? And also provides material support to genocide?

Wait this happened in advance of the inauguration? How is it just now being reported? And how has nobody been charged? What on earth?

Nation full of different, exotic types of insufferable dry drunks let's goooooooo

Obviously nobody knows what future electorates will look like, but worth saying here that these numbers are still based on weights taken from 2024 election turnout (R+2). Gallup's party affiliation polling has swung 10 points in the intervening year. Support is probably grossly underestimated here.

For the time being he's only been demoted to his previous position too. People getting way out over their skis here.

Most of them pay income/Medicare/SS taxes as well. A huge number of undocumented folks these days don't get paid truly under the table. Everybody has a cousin/niece/nephew with an SSN that they use on W2s. Their taxes come out of their paychecks just like the rest of us and they get nothing for it.
January 24, 2026 at 2:18 PM
I agree with my fetid, decaying president. That Times/Siena poll is fake (it's based on an R+3 sample presumably extrapolated from 2024 turnout patterns when Gallup's party ID polling has swung 10 points back to D+8 in the intervening months).
January 22, 2026 at 5:43 PM
Pretty hilarious that they're getting these numbers with an R+3 sample (I guess based on '24 turnout?) when Gallup's party ID poll has swung to D+8 over the last year...

Why in God's name does he have a suppressor? Jesus fucking christ.
January 15, 2026 at 8:41 PM
I mean it would be pretty funny if they complied by revoking the credit cards of anyone with a sub-750 credit score, which is more or less what you'd be talking about to make the numbers on this work. Should be a real winner for the midterms!
January 10, 2026 at 2:21 AM
Ah but you see they don't consider women people.
January 8, 2026 at 2:23 PM
Trockenbeerenauslesen should absolutely be a part of this conversation tbh.
December 24, 2025 at 1:18 AM
They were obviously executing witnesses!
December 5, 2025 at 1:57 AM
Why were there so many fucking people on such a small boat if they were smuggling drugs??? Ya could've fit so many more drugs on the boat with 8 less people! That's like half a ton more cocaine!
December 5, 2025 at 1:55 AM
As someone with real perspective on these matters, what are the odds they were just executing witnesses here (i.e. nobody really knew if there were drugs on the boat to begin with, can't have any deep sea fishermen floating ashore telling wild tales)?
December 5, 2025 at 1:52 AM
With this knowledge in hand should we just assume that they had no idea if there were drugs on board to begin with, and that the follow-up strike to execute the survivors was to ensure that nobody could testify to that effect?
December 5, 2025 at 1:46 AM
Sure man and they can also face the consequences if the strikes are deemed to be extrajudicial murders.
December 5, 2025 at 1:33 AM
These people are my literal family and my closest friends. My entire livelihood as a winemaker in this city would disappear without the university, and that would be among the least tragic aspects of the fallout. Genuinely go fuck yourself.
November 29, 2025 at 2:08 AM
You are talking about punishing thousands of doctors, nurses, professors, and staff, as well as thousands more local businesses and workers who depend on their commerce for the actions of a politically appointed board of visitors that's going to get shit canned in two fucking months.
November 29, 2025 at 2:06 AM
You understand that this would completely gut the community that I've lived in my entire life and now depend on for my livelihood, right? Lotta big fuckin talkers on this app these days.
November 29, 2025 at 1:50 AM
It's honestly kind of sad that these people can be like "I hate everything I once loved, I cannot extract joy out of even the small things in life" without even a modicum of awareness that they might be clinically depressed. Anyways shame that's gonna fester on untreated for the foreseeable future.
November 19, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Also this may be naive of me but I do think it's over if he has to veto this. And I think Republican House leadership knows there are a number of R senators who would kill for a chance to plunk this turd on his desk and make him do it.
November 14, 2025 at 11:32 AM
I think a lot of the rank-and-file bought into the notion that this really was gonna be a thousand year Reich, and have been behaving behind-the-scenes as if they will forever be protected by the fuhrer's imprimatur. Trump isn't the only one who can't afford for his spell to break.
