He apologized at the end of the broadcast. Not sure if it was a work or if he went into business for himself. I won’t even try to guess at what he was trying to accomplish. It happened and it’s largely a non-issue in my eyes

BUT, I do think it’s ridiculous to criticize Tony for signing the Elite. They were leaving NJPW regardless whether is was for upstart AEW or to WWE. If you’re starting a company, why wouldn’t you want the best singles wrestler and tag team on your roster?

But if I were to play devil’s advocate, I would point out the MJF has said those things while playing a heel and to elicit a reaction. To my knowledge, Chris Charlton is not a heel commentator

Starks has been gone from tv for like what, at least 6 months. Not sure. Regardless, how much AEW entertains me has not declined since then. Same for Miro. Say whatever you want about Malakai but he shows up every week and works and fights for his spot.

It’s as simple as showing up and earning your spot. If you buy into your own hype and don’t constantly fight for your spot then you’ll get cast aside.

Absolutely. There’s a lot of people nowadays who overvalue their importance and think by constantly complaining that they’ll eventually get what they want. Nothing ever works that way.
