Ecash is not Bitcoin though, it's a separate blockchain with its own currency (XEC). Seems insane to use one currency for large amounts (BTC) and one currency for small cheap private amounts (XEC) where transaction fees are negligible. Or am I missing something?

The average fee to transfer Bitcoin yesterday was $2.75. And Lightning requires you to open a channel (which also cost $2.75) before you can transact. Isn't that also financial privilege?
