If it means anything else, when I "upgraded" my system, I just bought another Apollo Twin, but with a Quad core processor instead of a Duo core.

Was looking for around $450 USD. Depending on budget, I can haggle, or even if under contract, do multiple payments!

I will say that the 4th gen finally had head room that wasn't an immediate disappointment.

But with my remote projects, basically any submission that stated having a Scarlett that wasn't Gen 4, I automatically discarded because it was THAT difficult to deal with quality wise.

When I had the "Standardize Your VO" packet up, I pretty much said that the unit is "fine" for indie projects or just starting out.

But in no way would I ever allow it in any professional projects I may be heading up.

I don't hate them, but it's definitely the first thing I'd upgrade away from.
