I also cringe and not just about UK Gov. Partner countries do not "pay into the EU budget" and the FT should know this. They pay into particular funds and those contributions have to stay inside those funds. #AssignedRevenue

I dunno but maybe there is an opportunity if the Conservatives don't fully fold into Reform for them to survive as a 10-15% party like LR in France.

As a seat, it's typical for a Reform win with the LibDems coming second and the Conservatives third.

It covers Salisbury Plain, stretching into the Marlborough Downs.

In the local elections of 2025, all wards/divisions in his constituency saw Reform winning in three of them and the challenger in the rest. Only two, around the more genteel Marlborough, look possible for the LibDems, plus a LibDem hold near Salisbury.
