Cue to Gaz’s ascension, where the only person with any sort of authority that has any sense of morality in his church is Price. Gaz takes a liking to Price, gives him small blessings, keeps an eye on him. Gods are selfish beings, and ultimately Price will be his.

But price isn’t like that. His father, grandfather, great grandfather and so on all worshipped the god of justice, it’s actual lessons passed down through the generations. Price preaches these teachings, calls out the priests but without the gaze of the justice how is he supposed to stop them?

Sure, stealing is bad, but what if it was a mother trying to feed her children. Murder is bad? But what if it was a wronged wife who got pushed to the edge after one too many hits.

The new priests were corrupt, using their influence in his temples, alters and churches to spread their influence. They took bribes, were biased. Justice taught its followers to never view the world in black and white.
