We moved and paid £4K pcm, reduced from £4.5K as we said we would fix what needed fixing. What Marsh & Parsons and the landlord forgot to tell us was that the next door neighbours were moving out for a year whilst major construction took place, 20 days after we moved in. You just gotta love renting.

So last year we rented a house for £4K pcm. When we complained that the oven was broken and the dishwasher flooded the kitchen whenever it was used, the agent, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward said it had nothing to do with them as the owner had assured them everything was fine. Neither was ever fixed.

Part 3: After 11 months of complaining the landlord asked me to measure up the oven as he was replacing it. We had just told him we would not be renewing the 1 year lease. Human Farming, what an earner!

Part 2: KFH said it has nothing to do with them as the landlord, who had moved out of the property 6 months earlier, assured them that everything was fine. "Any proof of that?", "Sorry, we can't show you because of GDPR".

Part 1: This is an ad I devised for a letting agency I was thinking of starting. Did you know that a letting agency (mentioning no names and certainly nothing to do with KFH) can rent you a property with a broken oven and a dishwasher that flooded the kitchen so couldn't be used?
