The club are a shambles behind the scenes for the 2nd season in a row, we are so lucky to have Howe, but even he must be at the end of his tether. My only criticism of his is going for players who simply didn't want to come in Pedro and Ekitike and wasting 3-4 weeks of the window. Huge week ahead

10 months and counting and still no closer to that being resolved

Chris, a question im sure many fans think also, but why does it take an age for Newcastle to announce a transfer? Appears it takes us days to announce, where other clubs do it in hours. Is it a staffing issue or a delibrate ploy from the club?

There is nothing to worry about in fact the opposite they've put millions into the feasibility study and are willing to spend big to have one of the best stadiums in the UK along with recently strengthening the position of the board. They even use us for their promotional videos

It is but there's obviously an issue with Forbes and Macneil who were the real talent in the band. The fact neither are in the documentary is quite sad

You simply can't afford him

The stadium announcer seems a bit stuck in his ways tbh, you can time you watch on when he's going to play The Ramones and the Beatles

Was told there was a lot of friction between Staveley and Ashworth and she told him on more than one occasion he wasn't her choice. If only the rest of the board had agreed with her things could of been a lot different

While I agree with a lot you say 2 wins from 11 against largely teams we'd expect to beat is worrying

We seem to play better when the opponents have more of the ball, the big improvement we need is to learn how to play well and breakdown teams when they sit back. Fine margins for us at times, Isak stays onside against West Ham and we probably win comfortably

That's the spirit! I actually think we will do really well tonight. Our left winger (if he's playing there) has something to prove tonight and heart is saying a narrow win. As good as there are they were very fortunate against Southampton

Agree it's ridiculous that we don't have a Training Ground/Kit deal, even a short term deal would help us, an extra £10m a season would make a huge difference
November 23, 2024 at 9:15 AM
Question to be asked there is where would we play during the rebuild? There's no obvious answer. I hardly think are friends on Wearside would welcome us with open arms

Agree Mark, and so far there's no ridiculous farm engagement with every response to a post

There's big arguments for staying or going, SJP is such an iconic stadium. A place I've been going for 40 yrs but sadly only thing will happen if we stay will be more areas of the ground becoming like 'Wings' charging £300 a ticket for a seat that used to be for legacy fans

Great podcast as usual Chris, you mentioned there is no one like Willock in the England side and while visually he's not, look at the Sofascore comparison to Bellingham

He's not though, rumoured he's signed a new contract. Think there was interest there but they've moved on to Wirtz who's a fabulous player. Typical of Sky though they cut the full quote where he talks about us and how much he loves being here
