Go to protests, show up for those you care about, call to check in on your friends and family. A phrase that’s been heavy on my mind recently is, “If you drop a frog into boiling water, it will jump out and survive. But if you turn up the temperature slowly, it will remain there until it dies.”This is not the time for lukewarm activism. This is not the time for excuses to not show up. We are living in a time that will be documented as significant for the lack of human rights as history progresses.
