The reason why the protagonist is lying down in the UI should be obvious to anyone who has played the game, as the team even wanted that to tie into the narrative.

it's a really beautiful piece, a few bits of it like the missing glass and old glue just need some love and care. like $3 at the local thrift store, i was over the moon

the back and a closer look at the natural color

it's hefty but not what i'd call heavy, but again my lack of familiarity with woodworking may be skewing my perception there. i did some very light test sanding with fine grain on the back and it yielded pretty easily. here's the back, no idea if that helps. and thanks for replying by the way!
