Being a federal office holder should be one of the most scrutinized positions, change my mind.

Why can’t we just have automatic ethics reports done on all federal employees done once per year? Why can’t we just have our politicians entire past voting and committee assignment history easily accessible?

Not to sound dismissive or anything, I’m just curious what your archiving process is? I have every paper, article, even random notes I’ve ever written all the way back to high school backed up and I’m surprised it sounds like other people maybe don’t? Does your job “own” it so you can archive it?

I think so many queer people wish they could go back and give their younger selves a hug and encouragement. It gets better and we all deserve to live our lives authentically 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️
