The brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters, journalists and politicians tonight in Tbilisi is unacceptable.

Georgia falls short of any expectation from a candidate country.

The EU stands with the people of Georgia in their fight for freedom and democracy.

The EU around the world must be the EU we want to see in the world:
The antithesis to the autocratic axis forming today.

I warmly welcome Peter Sørensen as my EUSR for Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.

There is important work ahead of us. Full normalisation of relations is only way for Kosovo and Serbia to join the EU.

Thank you for your efforts Miroslav Lajčák! Work done serves as basis to reengagement.

Unpunished crimes only encourage new atrocities.

Today we have taken an important step towards establishing a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

This is a signal to the world that no one from Russia’s leadership is untouchable.

We stand with the Georgian people and their choice for a European future.

We condemn the violence against protesters and regret signals from ruling party not to pursue Georgia's path to EU and democratic backsliding of the county.

This will have direct consequences from EU side.
