I'd like to see it go to court and for him to win so the judge can award 2 bob, a box of Yorkshire tea and some digestives as compensation.

Unless the cost per kWh is equivalent to charging at home (30p for me) then it won't encourage people to swap, or getting rid of their front gardens. Charging at home will always be a better solution.

Just issue all cars that go off the track on lap 1 an instant stop go penalty that must be served on lap 2.

Also is there not a better product for cycleways? Crushed recycled car tyres? If it's a dedicated cycle lane with no cars or van on it, it doesn't need to be built to the same strength and wear standard. Also it doesn't need to be red, signposted correctly.

Why not have Red always in use, and then fill pot holes in normal black tarmac with it. Then when a road looks like a Jackson Pollock then relay it in normal tarmac.

Isn't this in the Frome Vale ward that elected 2 Labour councillors.

Why haven't they sorted this out as part of their duties for the residents?

I believe the Emperor is in need of some new cloths.

Time we should do the British thing.

Close the curtains and pretend we're all out when he gets to No. 10. 🤣

I think you maths are wrong. The last day of the first quarter of the 21st century is the 31st Dec 2025

Not very 'Great British' is it!

If it's three tons then the council should just get it weighed in at the scrap metal merchants to help pay for the removal.

That is probably a naive assumption. I would expect the SS Great Britain have stats on who visits them, where they come from and how they get there. Maybe ask them.

Just because I would walk or cycle, we can't prevent day trippers.

This has the same issue. Say you're a family of 4 from Frome. You get Brislington P&R, tickets cost £10.50 and it takes over 40min each way, and that includes a reasonable walk.

I support active travel, but the harbour needs a bit of parking. They can build over priced flats somewhere else.
