Got this big honkin’ thing in the mail and it’s a workout just to lift it. It collects a whole bunch of rad tmnt comics, but most importantly issues 140-144 of the main series drawn by yours truly.

Day 5 of my TMNT rejected covers series!
So sometimes when I’m turning in roughs, I’ll throw in one that I’m pretty sure they aren’t going to pick, and this is one of them. Sometimes you get thrown a curveball and the publisher WILL actually pick that one, but luckily that wasn’t the case this time.

Day 3 of my TMNT: Rejected Covers series. We’re still on issue 134, but it was my first stab at TMNT and I was trying to trick everyone at @idwpublishing.com to keep hiring me for turtles work, and they all fell for it. Mwahahah.

Been spending my time working very slowly on a personal project in my sketchbook. The plan is to do tight layouts of all 5 issues before I start final art. That way if a major gig comes in in the meantime I can put this aside and do that, but I’m having a very relaxing time working on this.
