I have so many photos of trucks parked on the grass outside Matty Eckler Community Centre, which has a tiny park area and is right beside the road

Outside Matty Eckler Community Centre yesterday. This is a favourite parking spot for City trucks. The street is right there!

I received a defensive reply, passing the buck for the decision to staff instead of the Councillor. Essentially they had to remove 18 more parking spaces than originally thought and that apparently means it’s a no go for protected lanes (no explanation of why).

It’s already filled in (maybe not finished, but a lot of the fill is there). Even shows up on Google maps satellite now.

I wrote a disgruntled email to Fletcher (who is my Councillor) about this. Curious to see if she responds, but not hopeful given that her office has also been ignoring my emails about getting speed bumps installed on my street.
