Fascinating for an outsider like myself. Looks like Pres Trump will be the most consequential US president in the the past 50 years. I suppose the detail lies in the consequences which is yet to unfold and its hard to say exactly how it pans out. Wild times ahead, for the entire world.

Except there is no need for this whatsoever. Russia posts no significant challenge to the US in the current unipolar setup, economically or militarily. Elevating Russia seems more transactional than anything else. Voluntarily giving up its influence sphere makes the US the biggest loser in a trios

Joost Vd Westhuizen snorted himself silly, but was able to ride it, going down as one of the best ever. Hansie Cronje disgraced himself taking bribes from bookies. They made a celebratory movie about him. Many in the media relentlessly derided Jantjies because he wasn't "cut out to be a Springbok".
