I think those offers are based on people forgetting to cancel after the free/discounted period ends . quite popular
but ... I've never read the NYT , and I even stopped doing wordle after they bought it . i thought this tweet was about the murdoch-owned Times of London

I think I was talking about the historical context of Leviathan rather than a close reading of the text . I take it the all against all thing is what inspired the nasty, brutish and short description . I only read certain books of Hobbes ; partly because I changed courses early on in one term...
