Batteries plus renewables will make baseload power plants such as nuclear uneconomical to run, pointless even. Such systems can also be deployed at speed unlike nuclear.
I’m not anti nuclear but it makes you think that building any is a waste of time especially if sodium batteries take off.

Those thing wouldn’t last in Sheffield. The yellow Ofo bikes from 2018 ended up in trees, rivers and canals.

I was thinking that maybe they are comparing themselves people who are not salaried (business owners/investers)or earn huge bonuses. I’m not sure how else it makes sense.

Maybe they are comparing themselves to their acquaintances who have investments rather than cash. It’s all relative I suppose.

Snooker is too thoughtful for a sports top IMO, I realise this is probably due to familiarity. I don’t watch pool but I imagine that game suits the sport top better.
