The single prints on the E-minis (S&P) have been retraced. I share all this to say that real fear isn't in the market yet. No one can predict the beginning of a downturn. But there are clues it is imminent. We don't have those clues yet. I'll try to let you know when to start protecting yourself.

We bounced off of 6030, almost to the tick (6030.25). Let's see if we head back up to at least fill the single prints from today.

No, the top isn't in. There's a lot of mess toward the bottom, but all technical signs point to further up side in short term. I'd buy this for a short-term trade.

As much as it pains me to admit it, much of March's unemployment number doesn't exhibit the damage inflicted by #DOGE. April will undoubtedly be the highest in a year.

The $SPX has recently bounced a little (as I said it would). I hope you took the opportunity to sell any sensitive positions. Even Warren Buffett has gone to cash and only made relatively small bets. #Trump is the worst thing to happen to our economy since COVID-19.

We may get a very short-term bounce here, but those reference areas are week. Take any bounce as an opportunity to sell if you are an intermediate-term trader.

415 is major support for the $DIA longer term. Even though the $Dow isn't considered the market any more, it's still worth watching since this is what the tariffs will affect more directly. If you haven't already, I'd recommend purchasing some put protection.

Just a huge heads up. If the $S&P gets to the 5772 level, that's your first warning that you should switch your long-term investments to a guaranteed vehicle. Before anyone says I'm out of my wheelhouse, I've spent over 20 years in the market. Call this a #PSA.

Back to my roots on this one. This is an excellent example of making the connection between garbage litter and its affects on marine life. This makes the effects of our actions more salient for more people.

Getting back to my #marketing roots here. When you display deep discounts to your products and services, you're signalling that said offerings are not worth very much.

I'm going to get back to my roots for this one. This Captain Morgan ad asks its customers to be followers rather than leaders. It's not particularly empowering. Note that it is associated with the #NFL which is something else that one would typical follow. Am I just being too sensitive?

Does anyone else get these periodic, relatively big discount coupons from #CVS? On the surface, they seem like a great deal, but they actually signal that CVS charges a lot for their products. Much like both sides of the political spectrum, each is hiding the true costs of their respective regimes.
