As very mildly amusing as it was, that is definitely 2 hours of your life better spent on almost anything else.

Why was it that the country had been arguing to have access to guns all this time?

But can you tell the difference between butter and "I can't believe it's not butter"? #correctSimpsonsLyric

Easily 600.

He was. One of many where his incredibly hammy over-acting was on display. Disappointed with Del Toro because I had a lot of respect for him, but didn't think much about this guy in the first place so it's hard to be upset.

It's strange to see people embrace him as some sort of luddite artisan craftsman - his track record of using armies of digital artists very effectively speaks for itself. Historically he has always seemed to strike a great balance of when to use practical vs digital so it's weird to see this quote.

I can understand the argument for CAB, as if someone is in cardiac arrest the clock is very much ticking, but I'd be very concerned at amateurs jumping straight to compressions when it may just be a stuck grape! Guess I need a refresh.

As a former lifeguard & CPR instructor, that sounds bonkers. ABC in that order makes so much sense - if there's a blocked Airway, you need to clear it. If they're not Breathing, you want to try and fix that. If there's no Circulation then get pumping. Steps 1 & 2 should be a v quick assessment!

As someone born on "Star Wars Day" that year, I would really like to see the 25th reclaimed as the true Star Wars Day !

I genuinely think he'll be surprised when he wakes up tomorrow to find out he didn't win. And will claim it was rigged.

I really like Ground News for this sort of thing. News site aggregator, but also highlights any perceived political bias in reporting (and will flag up "blindspots" that you may not see if you are inclined towards left/right news sources usually).

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Slashfilm is clickbait trash and should be ignored.

FYI this particular gameshow was already being produced in Ireland *before* there was an applicable tax credit. It was somehow cheaper to fly 100 contestants *and the audience* there and put them up for a week. But there is one there now, so it's even cheaper. www.irishtimes.com/your-money/2...

I was very confused about why they may have needed to cancel Pride until I realised it was 4 years old! She seems great though.

Same thing with their contribution to the Metallica Black Album covers album, except I forgave them for dropping the Buddy Holly riff at the end of the big solo.
