Mother Nature put in a lot of overtime there. The scenery, the wildlife…all breathtaking.

As was your Father and the same holds true for you. I will always be in awe of that generation and you’re absolutely right. Everyone in that generation would be so sad to see what’s become of the country for which so many sacrificed so much. I know we’re both fortunate to have had great role models.

One of my favorite spots in the lower 48 states. If I’m not mistaken that’s Mount Moran and the photo wasn’t taken super recently as I suspect that area should have a blanket of snow by now if my previous late November visits were any indication.

My father was a member of that generation too, and the title “the greatest generation” is well deserved. He worked for Grumman Aircraft helping to build planes for the war effort. Everyone contributed to defeat fascism. Character mattered and they never would have elected someone void of character
