I love a lot of the lone trees in the vast landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors. This was taken near Huggate some years ago now.

There’s a beautiful ginkgo near my kids’ school here in York, and our youngest used to love collecting the leaves. I took this last winter: one of the last few leaves of 2023, clinging on tenaciously.
