When our vote is only part of the reason reps are elected, Democracy is not working as intended. That's why I called out lobbyists, corporate donors, and the greedy politicians. Supreme court judges shouldn't be taking yachts paid by politicians. POTUS shouldn't be able to sell perfume.

It shouldn't be hope that determines whether or not an elected official does their job. It should be the law. Also, what is your point? You took my original comment and responded with something that had nothing to do with what I said.

Most of the things mentioned weren't candidates. When I said corrupt politicians I didn't specify. Stop projecting. Whoever you support, I think we can agree we want our elected officials serving the people that elected them and not the highest bidder.

He's just the tip of the shit iceberg. Lobbyist money, corrupt politicians, AIPAC, Palantir, The Heritage Foundation, and other think-tanks need to be fought tooth and nail to keep history from repeating. There is a systemic change that needs to happen if American democracy is to make a comeback
