Just trust me that for how much I've analyzed this character for myself I've also thought a lot about why these things happen with her and I'm pretty confident in the causes

And if you question that notion then I ask why are some people so eager to flanderize her and make her out as weak? There's never been canonical basis to say she's that simple or that she's weak, she's always been multifaceted and strong, where do those ideas come from?

This applies to not only her themes but her characterization and strength which a lot of people simpify and downplay but they're obviously important parts of her. Also dare I say internalized misogyny and transphobia plays a role in this phenomenon more often than you'd think...

Just really not enough familiarity with her story and not enough thought given to what it all comes together to mean y'know?

This might sound egotistical but I don't think a lot of people understand her as well as they think they do and that makes me sad, I see it lead to a lot of ppl reducing many aspects of her and then ppl basing their assumptions on her based on that instead of the source material

If people thought less about the events themselves and more about what they mean for her emotional journey they'd realize how fantastically written she is, usually the ppl I see call her bad rep are missing the forest for the trees.
