My cousin and dad have worked hard on our genealogy and it was fun to discover that my last name great-g-g-g.....grandfather arrived in Essex Virginia in 1650.

Today's plant is a Jackmanii Clematis. Its 45 degrees in January here in Michigan so an outdoor one is in mind. Tub at bottom right covers the "River" to my pond. It retains the heat during these months.

Almost 50 degrees here in Michigan today. My fishys are coming to surface. Far cry from a week ago when their heated pond had a small area of ice free at bottom of waterfall. Bottom of pic are all my bonsai overwintering.

I thought this person who put a terrible picture of her mother online asking for money was disgusting. She was able to send this message to me and block me so I couldn't explain why that picture of her mom was so problamatic.
