Combination of all of the above honestly, travel and hotel expenses, sales down across the board, table fees being higher than smaller cons, sales patterns just very strange and difficult to predict

I don’t regret going at all and I think the con was otherwise well organized but since it was our first time both as vendors AND attendees hearing that this wasn’t the normal vibe of the show has made me feel better about the overall like ???? Results.

In addition to the margins being so small, the strange and inscrutable enforcement of MFF’s “no IP/fanart” were really hard to navigate given how random and arbitrary the rule actually felt in practice.
