Hi everyone! Quick update. I'm working on my own Sonic model for a bigger project. The textures are placeholders, and I plan to change them later, as well as modify his face a bit. So this is his base model. I still have a lot left to finish.

Not Sonic related, but while I was practicing with the geometry nodes, creating a mountain generator, I accidentally did this, I loved the picturesque effect that the Kuwahara effect gave on the compositor, and perhaps I apply it more often in landscape renders 🦧

Practicing retopology in Blender with a mesh with a slightly questionable topology that I did months ago (the left one), before I had only done retopology in Maya, my teacher says that it is a relaxing process but I lost all the progress like 3 times so much is not 🛌

I finally managed to make the trail change its color when Sonic becomes super, it's not automatic as I would like it to be but it's an improvement, before I didn't know how to make a mesh change its material in the geometry nodes 🦧

I managed to finish my second run cycle today 🦧, later on I would consider increasing the speed a bit to make the effect look better, but this time I managed to do the shoes movement more smooth

Testing a new method for running, I did it fast especially to test that's why it looks a bit stiff, although I have in mind that the shoes will take that shape as Sonic progressively accelerates 🦧

Trying a new method for Sonic's trail. I used to move the trail manually in the other animation, this one I made is automatic and also I added modifiable and animated parameters such as which side I want it to be activated, its duration or its size. Soon I'll include it to the rest of the body 🦧

The previz version of the animation. I changed a lot as long as it looks better (I was this close to doubling the duration but I want to make the following animation from scratch to correct all the mistakes I made, and also change the render to eevee now because I spent 13 hours rendering 🗿)
