Frustrating tbh.
I get the need for rotation, but so often it feels like Chelsea would achieve a better outcome in these types of games if Maresca set up with a cohesive starting XI, aiming to dominate, get a couple of goals ahead, and then make changes.

Chelsea channeling their very best Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde personas tonight. Terrific first-half followed by a bizarre second-half blighted by ill-discipline, poor defending & curious in-game management. Thankfully Jamie Gittens' class goal won it in the end for the Blues.

It's the League Cup which is a trophy always worth winning imho.
This is a decent starting XI with solid reinforcements available on the bench.
