It took way longer than I expected, but I have updated my Xbox 360 models for Halo Reach

When I ported them to H3, I fixed the weird power button curve not really being a curve. I brought those models over to Reach today for a simple little improvement.

My wife and I are going through an OOT/MM Combo Randomizer, and with randomized entrances, it's hard to remember where to go

I'm developing a full application to track paths, drop down lists of locations from both games, notes, and more

I'm obsessed currently with the reflective visor, but it's insane that a game from 2007 can do this so clean and clear

Did you know Halo 3 supports full real-time reflection in its visors? AFAIK it's unfortunately limited to one character, as all visors with real time reflections set will display only one player's visor, but still incredibly crisp looking!

It's amazing what Bungie made in 2007

Welp, I just had the most fitting Master Chief death in all of Fortnite. Final 2, and I got sent into the water, followed immediately by a flying vehicle that crushed me. And his name was S11717

I also had other variant concepts I tinkered with, some ended up elsewhere. The Bubble Pistol came from this, as did the "Acid Rain Stormcaller" turret.

Fun fact: When making the Blood/Earth Rifles, I originally was going to have 4 elemental versions which, when at ~75% battery, they'd explode and replace themselves with one of the other elemental types.

The name for the Blood Rifle at 100% charge still lingers, but the concept is gone

I finally fixed the Saxophone not showing up in cutscenes after almost 2 years of this mod being out.

It was a simple issue that I just didn't know enough about at the time. But now?

In Halo Reach, I was able to make pop-up ads appear for a few seconds to distract players and block their screen. This unfortunately was not a feature yet for Halo 3

However, in ODST? ODST has a lot of Reach's features with Halo 3's engine, it's a great blend. Pop up ads return!

Thanks to my Steam year in review, I can see clearly when I was working most on my mods.

I haven't really played Halo outside of testing mods in a while, so this is a fun insight on my development time
