Once upon a time, a writer penned a script on the Murdochs. And nobody would touch it. Enter the character of Greg Hirsch. Cousin Greg. Art meet life. #Succession.
We, the American taxpayers, purchased the below character to lead Argentina. And no, that is not some random image selected to make Javier Milei look like a villain. That is Argentine President Milei's official portrait. Folks, exactly what are we doing?

Not from a novel, but from the Truman Presidential Library and Museum. From the left: Senator Edmund Muskie, future media mogul Sumner Redstone, movie producer and theater owner Sherrill Corwin, and President Truman in December of 1970. The Viacom mogul [$PSKY] was, um, a rather progressive thinker.

In its 45 years, has there ever been a story on anyone or anything holding a byline that runs 13 names on an event given 112 separate stories, briefs or posts by those 13 professional journalists at CNN? Maybe @brianstelter.bsky.social or @oliverdarcy.bsky.social knows the answer, as it's a tell.

Melania? Is that you?

The First Lady, Melania Trump, representing the United States of America on the world stage.

It's almost like the perfect image for a hybrid of America's first couple. So, so classy -- aspirational, no?

Maybe Jeff should have the team skip right to this:

A four-pane takedown...um, I mean, explanation of where America finds itself today by Mike Luckovich.

...I can get Donald Trump on the telephone. I also knew Josh Kosman's piece on Terry Cole was being spiked before Josh or the NYPost's business editor, Sam Chamberlain, knew. See the screenshots from our text on March 27, 2025, specifically note the day and the time.

Tonight is the anniversary of the attempt on my life orchestrated at the BHH, occurring just inside the Polo Lounge. I awoke in the ER of Cedars with both hands cuffed to a gurney. I only learned months later, this was on a bogus citizen's arrest on an unconscious me. For anyone who thinks I forgot:

Mmm...donuts.

Dunkin' delivers.

See, here's the problem. I agree, completely so, with @kenwhite.bsky.social on this topic. When I see this picture, however, I see several 'rough & tough' looking individuals in street clothes attacking a man who resembles my accountant. The latter is who I was taught to help, the others...to fear.

Long an admirer of Barry Diller's, read his book "Who Knew"...although Maer Roshan's THR cover story is a great read on its own.

'Tech is binary. 1s & 0s... They're overseeing culture w/o ever having touched it. It's a system designed for predictably & efficiency—the opposite of creative work.'

Brendan Carr's authority is only over the x-fer of 28 licenses from Redstone to Ellison. Under Donald Trump's claims, it's illogical for Carr & Trump to not be embracing Larry Ellison's ownership—a longtime booster/friend of Trump's. After all, Shari's the villain as cast. A bribe? It's a shakedown.

Brendan Carr has narrow authority here over just the transfer of 28 licenses from Shari Redstone to Ellison. Under Donald Trump's claims, it is illogical for Carr & Trump to not be embracing Larry Ellison's ownership—a longtime supporter & friend of Trump's. It's a shakedown of Shari. Pure & simple.

Ethan Shanfeld's story for Variety is tagged as "news" when it reads as a review, in part, of The Rehearsal w/ either some bad journalism or an effort to continue Nathan Fielder's satire added in. I get the episode, I don't get the far too PR-like piece. @bristei.bsky.social @aherman2006.bsky.social

Jeffrey Katzenberg? Kingmaker?...Okay.

"The Last Don?"

Replying to Josh @tpm.bsky.social ...I, apparently, offended the WaPo's Philip Bump. Refusing to read Bezos' WaPo, I didn't know it was seen as a critique of Bump. He says he is an expert on political rhetoric; yet, his response was to block me. Like too many here, Phil is only here to promote Phil.
