It's a beautiful day in Flagstaff. Enjoying the sunshine, running into friends in the big crowd, standing up for democracy.

Millions of people could be seriously hurt by Trump's sudden freeze of almost all federal grants and loans. My job could be in jeopardy. It's also illegal as hell. Trump doesn't get to make up his own laws as he goes along. Call Congress and let them know how furious you are. I just did.

What am I resisting?Further climate devastation. The destruction of wild lands and wild beings.The destruction of the rule of law. The severing of our bonds to one another, as members of a common society. Here in Arizona, I will do what I can to to save, to build, to strengthen.
