I try to be nice, mostly love sport (49ers, Argyle) and obviously my family. Cats are hilarious. I also write python code (badly) and scrutinise data.
I know someone who was a year or two above Farage in the same school so have heard about this stuff for years, they've always said he and his small gang of friends were generally viewed as racist twats and were ostracised by everyone else.

I assume @andrewhunterm.bsky.social will be very gentle with Ian Hislop about this on the next page 94 podcast.

I'm seeing NIN for the first time ever live in London in June, with my wife. She is a mild fan at best and really only knows about 3 songs, I have been a big fan since the mid-90's. This might be her penance for me being made to go to certain musicals she loved but I did not.

At least in Warks there are decent local links to big cities and plenty of job opportunities so locals can afford housing, it's just the scarcity that is the issue. I really wish buy-to-let could be eradicated or made financially less attractive with stronger tenant rights.

I grew up in Devon & Cornwall and the situation is even more acute there, with the local elderly population hating any new developments fearing an influx of 2nd home owners when really it's the younger families that are desperate to buy. The lack of jobs and increased poverty makes it worse.

I live in South Warwick and thousands of houses are currently being built as part of decade long plan...it still isn't enough though and a lot of locals hate it, with the lib dems especially hating any use of fields beings used for solar power generation too, despite evidence that it helps the land.

Cheers, yeah I wish Starmer was a little less cautious and moved faster to create the changes we need but it's a multi-year project to fix the system wide problems the Tories wraught on us. He is stepping up on the International stage though which is impressive.

Fair, I'm just glad we decided to vote the greedy nutcases out of office at last. Despite how much they fucked us up.

I know, as someone who voted in favour of remaining in the EU I'll never forgive those charlatans who lied to the general public for their own gain.

As a Brit, can I just ask, what the bloody hell is wrong with you lot?

It's a cheese play so NFL house rules only allow teams to run it a max of 3 times a game. In college they have unlimited tries so some teams use it for every pass play.

I think/hope @shutdownfullcast.bsky.social would tick a lot of your boxes. The best and most irreverent CFB podcast in the business.
