Another glorious Escondido sunset (BGWest) to cap a great day out here. Scenes from our deck. Including a perfect start to the end of the day: a glass of @flowerswinery Rose - our favorite. Already planned our April return. @brettma11

Saw Mohammed Rasoulof’s The Seed of the Sacred Fig. Filmed in secret and edited in exile and rushed to Cannes where it won an award and a more than 30 minute ovation. Thriller, Art,Protest it is all and more. The three actresses were amazing performing without hijab risking career and life. Must see

Last night, playing with Cantor Jeff Klepper and Rabbi Dan Freelander - 50 years of Kol B’Seder. In the 70’s I was an occasional member of the original band. I joined Loui Dobin and Steve Samuels to celebrate their Kol B’Seder’s iconic music.

We had a great evening. First, we went to see A Real Pain, written, directed, and starring Jesse Eisenberg and also starring Kiran Culkin. A truly moving and wonderful film. On the way home we were able to score a table at Michelin’s newest star winner, Sawa. Amazing Lebanese food, drinks, service.
