Agreed. Our ideal scenario would be he goes now for about £62-65m upfront with maybe a few add ons and then we can all move on with planning for next season. And you'll be getting 80% of a Salah still with the potential to improve further.

There's no doubt we want to sell him. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't end up at Man Utd sooner rather than later. But there's no pressing financial need to sell and if we didn't I suspect we'd extend his contract with a massive pay rise and informally promise him he can go next summer instead.

Not really. We've no pressing need to sell him. Ideally we would in order to allow us to reinvest and progress further but if not Bryan would stay and we'd sell Wissa instead. Either way we pocket a club record fee and retain a 20 goal a season Premier League striker.
