I only see articles about Trump’s 5/30/25 press statement that he would consider pardoning Diddy but no one’s contacted him. So I think that’s what you’re referring to. Nothing new by Trump has been said about the matter since then. Also 50 Cent has been campaigning to have Trump not pardon Diddy

Right. He also gets credit for time served. He’ll probably end up serving time for a few years.

From what I read of the sentencing guidelines, he’ll probably get somewhere between 4-5 years. And then there’s the possibility he gets out earlier than that with good behavior.

What interests of Trump align with Diddy’s? Not political circles. Not social circles. There are plenty of other celebrities rotting in prison that Trump hasn’t pardoned.

The easier charges were the sex trafficking & transporting charges which the jury was unanimous on. If they agreed he was innocent of the easier charges, they wouldn’t be hung up on the more complicated charge. It makes more sense they did convict him on the easier charges but not the harder one.

Chummy photos from decades ago does not equal pardon. Trump even said recently that they’re not friends but used to be friendly. There is nothing advantageous to Trump pardoning Diddy.
