Sahalie Falls
Sahalie Falls (meaning "Heaven" in Chinook) is a plunging waterfall of the McKenzie River in Linn County, Oregon, located alongside Oregon Route 126, 34 miles west of the city of Sisters.
The waterfall consists of a 73-foot (22 m) plunge, with year-round waterflow rates of 560 cu ft/s.

Devils Churn
Devils Churn is a narrow inlet south of Yachats, Oregon,
Over many thousands of years, wave action carved into the basalt shoreline, forming a cave whose roof eventually collapsed. The tide can throw spray hundreds of feet into the air when the waves reach the end of the churn.

Hood River morning
Hood River, Oregon is a port on the Columbia River, and is named for the nearby Hood River. Hood River (originally called Dog River) was incorporated in 1895. It is the only city in Oregon where public consumption of alcohol on sidewalks or parks is completely unrestricted.

Mount Hood, also known as Wy'east, is considered the Oregon volcano most likely to erupt. Odds of an eruption in the next 30 years are estimated at 3 to 7%, so the U.S. Geological Survey characterizes it as "potentially active", but the mountain is informally considered dormant.

I camped at Fort Townsend, Washington on Sunday night, and attempted some Milky Way shots using my iPhone 16 Pro MAX. I was disappointed to find that it wasn't nearly dark enough to see the MW with the naked eye... My iPhone shots were better than I expected, but still not that good...

Tunnel View, Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, California

The Wawona Tunnel was completed in April of 1933. The tunnel leads visitors from the South Entrance to a view of Yosemite Valley. With a length of 4,233 feet, the structure is the longest highway tunnel in the state of California.

Boiler Bay State Scenic Viewpoint, Depoe Bay, Oregon

Boiler Bay Viewpoint overlooks the small Boiler Bay. Boiler Bay was named after the vessel J. Marhoffer was run aground in the small bay on May 18, 1910, after an engine room fire.Today, the boiler can still be seen at extreme low tides.
