Drowned in gravy, and you're still only going to eat a bite or two before going back for more of everything else. That's how I do it. Hell, red wine is the closest I'll get to veg today.

Strong start. Respect the total absence of green vegetables.

More reliable and doesn't torch the environment every time you shake it.

Please tell that the administration of the public school district where I work. Last year our new assistant principal observed part of one of my classes and sent me a follow up 'thanks, loved it!' email written by ChatGPT. I've been at this for 30 years and don't have much tooth enamel left to grind

Yeah, because it's our fault that absolutely any motherfucker can get a gun in this country if they want to shoot someone.

Outstanding. Way back when, Santa brought my kids two rubber T-Rexs, about 2 feet tall, that eventually lived on our porch year round. In October, they wore Halloween costumes; at Christmas, they had Santa caps and beards (courtesy of Petsmart). They were a huge hit in the neighborhood.

Wow. I still have a copy of this somewhere, bought it in college and took endless shit from my roommates. Great art, great imagination

This was the first TV show I ever watched with my kids, and the only one for a long while. So good.

Not just us. I taught Fahrenheit 451 to high school juniors this fall, something I haven't done in a long while, and they were like, yeah, this sounds about right.

No, it's INTENTIONALLY divisive. The whole fucking point is to divide the good guys from the bad guys, those who believe in human rights and liberty from those who don't–– actual, goddamned, punchable Nazis.

I just spent a week teaching Thoreau's Civil Disobedience to 17 year-olds. There is hope. They see it. They see the craven, corrupt tyranny around us. They are wrestling with HDT's challenge of what to do in when the law forces you to be "the agent of injustice to another." Fight the power!

I drink too much and pick a fight with my sister-in-law about politics and current events.

At root, it's a failure of critical thinking, to see the difference between a generalization supported by evidence and one that is not, and then to suggest that either no one gets to make generalization or everyone does.

"Needless to say"... nah, I think you need to say.

It's such a beautiful city. We used to live about where it looks that pic was taken.

Kai, something I've been asking in other threads is about how JB is talking such a good game against Trump, yet the Illinois State Police are working with ICE and brutalizing people.
