Devon Fungus group had a microscope session at Woodah Farm yesterday. This magnificent selection of Parasitic boletes (Pseudoboletus parasiticus) on Common Earthball (Scleroderma citrina) was brought in by a participant.

A fair drop of rain while I've been away. These have popped up under my allotment outdoor tomatoes (probably spores in the Green waste compost).Look like a Conocybe sp. but would need more examination to be sure.

I finally got to visit the Whipple Museum in Cambridge last Friday and see Dillon Weston's glass models of microscopic fungi. Brilliant.
