Presumably because my art is too risqué for their relationships with Visa and Mastercard.

One story telling hill I will die on:

Your main/POV character needs to be the one to move the narrative forward. If your POV character is just there to observe the story and offer color commentary to the audience, they are not the main character and you need to rewrite things.
