I've always thought W had good intentions, but he wasn't a leader. Nor did he understand the people he placed his faith in....he was their ultimate puppet.

JMHO, but I don't think W was as much corrupt as he was just stupid! Lots of bad stuff happened in his presidency, but I think it was more because he wasn't smart enough to recognize it vs him being outwardly corrupt. He surrounded himself with people that outsmarted him for their own agendas. 🤷‍♂️
