I’ve been loyal to Vizio for a while, but was sad to see them get bought out, plus it sucks that they haven’t come out with any genuinely new models for a few years. They’ve had some real winners over the years, but… I have a Sony now and while the price wasn’t as great, at least the quality is good

This is what I thought the minute I heard of the course reversal.

Sure, and I realize that has its problems, but I don’t think making justices directly elected is the best answer either. I don’t know what the ideal solution is. In theory, even if the executive and judicial branches are in lock step, the legislative *could* be a check on them.

I wouldn’t say it’s a farce; it works, until the people elect enough of the wrong kind of candidates to undo it.
