Many CEO contacts have outsized bonus structures if they can hit big goals and seeing the large profitability jump I would not be surprised if this was it given how unprofitable SCA was for many years prior.

Age-old debate settled? Scientists finally investigated whether light or dark roasts have more caffeine.

The answer: It's complicated. Dark roasts have less caffeine under identical brewing conditions, but higher caffeine at identical extraction yields.

Scientists are using DNA analysis to crack the code of coffee wilt disease - a pathogen that's periodically decimated African coffee production since the 1920s.

Finding: The fungus "borrowed" DNA from other pathogens to infect new coffee varieties.
