I made the mistake of reading it to my son when he was about 11 years old. The journey from him wanting that room so bad to being scarred probably forever was quick and brutal.

Agreed! Also liked Smee’s mannerisms, his pouty childishness was my favorite of all the kids. Would love to know why the eyeball fought the xenomorph on the ship, but I don’t trust that the answer will be as interesting as the question.

I liked the eyeball and the ticks were pretty good in parts. I never once felt like they understood what is scary or interesting about the xenomorph. Just a bunch of shots of its perfect metal teeth and it standing around in well lit spaces.
The music choices were baffling.

The music choices on this show are all so weird. I usually can’t even guess what they were trying to say/do with them.

I hate to say it, but I lived there for 8 years and never had one. I saw them, but assumed they were not good based on absolutely no information.

My kid was heartbroken when he got the email. Real hard to pull a positive lesson out of this one, but I guess a reminder that things don’t always make sense or follow the rules will never not be applicable.
