The blurbing system obviously sucks but what blows my mind about the discourse here is how many people buy books based on blurbs. They’re all vague and meaningless. Just read the book! It’s already in your hands!

I just think if you're gonna use that many cormac mccarthy words in your epigraph, the first couple pages of your novel ought to have some pretty good sentences
