he's not the absolute worst but i find the decision questionable since the metroid games were always really good at being atmospheric and letting the player just take things in themselves.

Its concerning that we may have a talking head butting in more often than he should.

if i recall, max headroom was prosthetic work made to look computer generated, unless i got that mixed up

I think what helps is promoting it everywhere possible. Social media, youtube, ive seen some expos and conventions open the floor to showing off upcoming indie titles.

It seems to be a mix of promotion and the "hook" that makes folks interested to see more.
