I do wish David Allen Green would open his posts so I could comment on them.

I presume they are locked to prevent those other random idiots on here littering them with ignorant observations.

I do not propose to follow my train of thought further towards any logical & self-aware conclusion... 😬

Not specifically frog-related (that I know of 😬), but I saw these in a Swiss supermarket and thought of you...

Well, I get this far at least

Hmm. Not all that similar now I go check! 😃

All of these 3 dishes fit the bill for a heatwave:
- easy to prepare
- no cooking
- add hydration to replace water lost in perspiration
- add salt to replace salts lost in perspiration.
- delicious!

¡Que aprovechéis! 😃

Now comes the hard part.
- spoon the marinade over the tomatoes.
- add more oil, salt or pepper if you want
- leave it for an hour if you can, then serve.
- Covered with tin foil, you can leave it outside the fridge for several hours.

To make the marinade:
- mince the garlic.
- add plenty of parsley
- pour in enough olive oil to cover the garlic and parsley
- stir.

Even in hot weather, this is not going to exhaust the cook. 😃

The marinade is made of just 3 or 4 ingredients: a decent olive oil, parsley (I usually use dried, although fresh flat leaf would be better), garlic and optional salt.

The green plastic thing is a garlic mincer; if you're ever in Spain, go to a supermarket and grab one. Way better than a press. 👍🏻😃

They work well in hot weather, as they are refreshing and easy to prepare. Start with slicing your tomatoes - I like the "tomate rosa" which is a type of beefheart tomato.

Slice thinly with a good knife!

Sunday lunch, but too hot to cook? Challenge accepted!
- tomates aliñados
- cogollos a la cordobesa
- Greek salad (horiatiki)

Slightly higher in 2025 index - resumably because other countries have slipped futher, rather than any improvement in Hungary. 😬

Spoiler alert: here is the straightforward conclusion.

Here, I did it for you. 😉

I see another of the iron rules of Twitter is valid here too. 😀

I don't get any option to extract text from an image; nor can I see how there ever could be. A .pdf or .jpg doesn't "know" it's a picture of text. (The snippet of alt text shown is yours). What am I missing?

Y'all need to refresh your acquaintance with international corruption rankings. Even the most corrupt member state, Hungary, makes the world's cleanest quartile. Of the world's 10 least corrupt countries, 6 are in the EU.
