I have, for the first time, been making (as opposed to adjusting) curtains. I have got to the pretty fabric, which needs three widths each side, matching the pattern at each seam. I am immensely proud of my pattern matching - can you spot the seam?
Lavender flowers and leaves on pale background curtain fabric, with almost unnoticeable seam in centre to show my pattern perfectly matched.

I have, at some cost to my (now bruised and perforated) fingers, re-covered my blanket box to go with my redecorated bedroom. I am very pleased with the result!

It is possible I should be giving my latest novel - Death In Training (Casey & Carval 7) a final proofread. It's also possible I should be working on its blurb.
Instead I am recovering a blanket box. Progress is being made, but hand stitching the braid to the top is tedious.
